With the hottest lineup to be found at ANY event this Freshers, Cardiff University Students’ Union is proud to welcome Zane Lowe, Skream, Diana Vickers and Roll Deep to perform at the OFFICIAL Freshers Ball 2010.
A man who needs no introduction: Zane Lowe is one of Radio One’s most popular and prolific DJ’s. Hosting a 2 hour DJ set, Zane will be mixing the hottest new anthems and spinning the classic tunes we all love to hear.
Skream is one of the most prominent and important producers in the world of dubstep. He is perhaps most well-known for his popular remix of La Roux’s ‘In for the kill’ which has since become a clubland classic.
Diana Vickers burst onto the music scene during the semi-finals of X Factor in 2008. Since then she has been going from strength to strength, and released her debut single ‘Once’ which went straight to number one in April.
Roll Deep are a London-based grime music collective, who shot to fame with the release of their debut single, ‘Shake a leg’. They achieved their first number 1 UK single in May 2010 with their popular summer anthem ‘Good times’.
