How to Order Your Custom Clothing
Getting your society kitted out with Love Cardiff by Y1 couldn’t be easier! From our classic fleeces to our expanded clothing range, you can create custom kit designed specifically for your society.
1. Fill Out the Order Form
Start by completing our quick order form with as much information as possible. Let us know which products you’re interested in, your preferred colours, logos, personalisation and any design ideas you already have.
Our team will aim to get back to you within 24 hours during weekdays and term time.
2. Choose Your Products & Create Your Design
It’s not just fleeces! Alongside our popular society fleeces, you can now choose from a wider range of Y1 products, including:
Cotton ¼ Zips • Rugby Tops • Joggers • Hoodies • Sports Tops • Jackets & More
We’ll work with you to create a bespoke design that represents your society. Add your society logo, choose your colours and explore personalisation options such as names, initials or committee positions.
3. Approve Your Design & Go Live
Once you’re happy with the final design and price, we’ll create your society’s product on the Love Cardiff website.
Your members can then place and pay for their own orders individually — so there’s no need for one person to collect everyone’s money.
4. We Place Your Order
There is a minimum order of 15 items per design. Once the minimum has been reached and your order closes, we’ll place the full order with Y1.
Y1 orders usually take approximately 8–10 weeks from the date the full society order is placed.
Once everything arrives at Love Cardiff, we’ll let your society know it’s ready for collection from them

Designs and Pricing: We aim to get in touch with you within 24 hours. during week day and in term times
Delivery times may vary between 6 to 10 weeks, depending on the season, but rest assured—we'll keep you updated at every step. Once your products are ready, we'll email you with the collection details.
Please note that the 6–10 week production time starts from the date your society order closes and the full order is submitted to Y1, not from when the product first goes live on our website. or when a customer orders
We recommend allowing plenty of time if you need your clothing for a specific event, competition, trip or deadline.Lead times are always
approximate and are subject to delays during busy periods -
We can work with you to create a design that suits your society, from something simple to a more customised look.
The number of logos, text, colours and print/embroidery locations available will depend on the product and supplier you choose. Some additional logos, text or personalisation may also come with an extra cost.
If you have an idea, send us as much information as possible — including logos, sketches or screenshots for inspiration — and our team will let you know what’s possible and help bring your design to life.

As Society Custom Clothing is made to order specifically for your society, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges for incorrect sizes, personalisation or change of mind.
Please make sure you check your size, personalisation and order details carefully before completing your purchase. sample products for sizes are in love cardiff for you to try on before purchase
If your item arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect due to an error with your order, please contact lovecardiff@cardiff.ac.uk and our team will be happy to help.

Once the society order has been submitted to the supplier, we cannot make changes.
This includes changes to sizes, colours, personalisation and quantities.
Please make sure all information is correct before your society's closing date.

Yes. For most of our Society Custom Clothing, the minimum order is 15 items per design.
If you think your society will need fewer than 15, please email lovecardiff@cardiff.ac.uk before completing the form. We may have alternative options available depending on the product.

Yes, you can pay using your Society Funds, but we do not recommend this payment method where possible, as it can add extra time to the ordering process.
Society Funds payments need to be approved and transferred by the Activities Team before we can place your order with the supplier. This may delay the start of the 8–10 week production time.
If you would like to pay using your Society Fund, please let the Love Cardiff team know when completing the Society Custom Clothing Enquiry Form so we can make sure your order is set up correctly from the beginning.

We offer both collection and delivery options for Society Custom Clothing orders.
Collection: Depending on how your society order is set up, items can be collected from Love Cardiff once the full order has arrived. We recommend that one society representative collects the whole order where possible, as this makes distribution quicker and easier.
Delivery: Shipping options are also available if you would prefer your order to be delivered. Any applicable delivery charges will be shown or confirmed when your product is set up.
Delivery: If you choose delivery, please make sure you enter an address where you expect to be in 8–10 weeks' time, as your order will not be dispatched immediately.
If you realise you have entered the wrong delivery address, please contact lovecardiff@cardiff.ac.uk as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once your order has been submitted or dispatched
